How to cleanse your lash extensions!

- Remove any excess makeup around the eye using an eyelash extension safe makeup remover.

- Grab your favorite lash extension cleanser and a fluffy eyeshadow brush.

- Squeeze one pump of your cleanser onto the brush.

- Swirl the brush across your eyelid, natural lash base  and lower lid. *If you notice the foam dissolving quickly ad another pump of cleanser.

- Rinse the eye with cold/warm water.

- Repeat on the opposite eye.

- Once DRY brush lashes into place.

**Lash Tip! Clean lashes = better retention.

Tips, Tricks, and What To Do Before Your Appointment!

Tips!

NO MASCARA- mascara will only weigh down your lashes and it's nearly impossible to completely remove. No matter how much you cleanse I see everything. hahahah

DITCH THE LINER- if you must make sure its oil free and know that it could effect retention at your next visit. I suggest using black/brown eyeshadow.

NO EYELASH CURLERS!

OIL FREE- all products must be oil free this includes moisturizer and eye creams. Oil products break down the adhesive and can cause a buildup on the natural eyelash.

Sleeping- sleeping is the biggest cause of premature lash extension loss. Try your best to sleep on your back.

FACIALS- if you get facials please ask them to avoid the eye area.

SPRAYS- please be extra careful around eye area with cresol sprays and facial mist. This includes sunscreen, hairspray, makeup setting mist, etc. Cover your lashes when using these products.

SWIMMING- Swimming is totally OKAY! If you choose to swim with your lashes remember to wash them immediately after. Chlorine and salt can build up on your lash extensions and effect retention

COTTON- do not use cotton rounds, q-tips, or makeup wipe near the eye. Cotton can snag on your lash extensions, and pull them out. I suggest using a microfiber towel to dry and remove makeup around your lashes.

Before your Appointment

Please arrive with clean lashes! That means no products around the eye area before your appointment, this includes; foundation, concealer, MASCARA, sunscreen, moisturizer, eye cream, eye serum, etc.

To maximize your time with me, please arrive 10 mins early to your appointment. This will allow the opportunity to discuss your desired look and a chance to use the restroom before the service.

Please avoid caffeine on the day of your service. I know we all have our morning routines, but please avoid it. You will be lying on your back for up to 3 hours and it's hard to relax with caffeine in your system.

Try to reframe from wearing strip lashes 48 hours before your appointment. Strip lash glue is a tricky adhesive. It likes to hold on for a few days at the base of your lashes. This can cause retention issues at your expense.
